I am a registered and licensed Doctor of Chiropractic in both Manitoba and Ontario.
But let me explain….
I received my Honours Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. There I majored in Biomechanics and Human Physiology, so it was a natural transition for me to study chiropractic. I attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto where I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1990.
I moved up to Collingwood, Ontario and worked as an independent contractor for a few years. I then branched out on my own in Collingwood, and opened a second clinic in Stayner Ontario. With the birth of our first daughter, I decided to sell the second clinic and focus on my Collingwood practice and my family.
I continued to practice in Collingwood until the fall of 2013. At this time my husband took a job opportunity in Winnipeg, Manitoba. So we all moved out here. Rather than sell the practice and close all doors in the community we had grown to love, I hired a long term locum chiropractor to work in the office, and in the summer of 2013 hired a second locum chiropractor to work part time. I continue to run the logistics of the office while in Manitoba.
Which leads me to where I am now….which is to do locum services in the Winnipeg area.
